Project Description:
The applicant proposes disturbance to the adjacent area of a NYS-regulated freshwater wetland, excavation and fill within the Hudson River, and installation of structure on/over waters of the state in association with a commercial and residential development which includes a fixed timber pier and shoreline stabilization. Disturbance to the ~1,500 square feet of adjacent area is proposed for removal of existing concrete and installation of a retaining wall along the edge of the adjacent area. Approximately 15,000 square feet of fill is proposed below mean high water associated with shoreline stabilization. A timber pier is proposed, 220 feet long, 8 feet wide, with a 25-foot wide t-shape for the last 9.5 feet; the previously approved docks will be removed, reducing the boat slips from ~200 to 100.
