Disturbance to the ~1,500 square feet of adjacent area is proposed for removal of existing concrete and installation of a retaining wall along the edge of the adjacent area. Approximately 15,000 square feet of fill is proposed below mean high water associated with shoreline stabilization. A timber pier is proposed, 220 feet long, 8 feet wide, with a 25-foot wide t-shape for the last 9.5 feet; the previously approved docks will be removed, reducing the boat slips from ~200 to 100. State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination A draft environmental impact statement has been prepared on this project and is on file. SEQR Lead Agency Stony Point Town Planning Board State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination Based on the information provided in cultural resources survey reports for this project, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) has determined that the proposed activity will have an impact on registered or eligible archaeological sites or historic structures. Measures have been undertaken in consultation with OPRHP to avoid or mitigate impacts to registered or eligible resources. These agreed upon measures conclude the SHPA review. Coastal Management This project is located in a Coastal Management area and is subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
