The applicants propose withdrawal of up to 144,000 gallons per day of groundwater associated with groundwater dewatering for construction of the proposed water filtration plant, installation of a dewatering system and treatment system in DEC-regulated freshwater wetlands adjacent area, and discharge of wastewater to the wetland. The Department has prepared a draft SPDES permit subject to public comment or other information, to approve a proposed discharge of treated groundwater from a chemical treatment plant to an unnamed tributary of Kensico Reservoir (Rye Lake) at the applicant's facility address located at 4441 Purchase St, Harrison, NY. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
