Proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendments
Public Hearing
The Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing in the Town Hall Room 212 room, pursuant to 1.5.3 of the North Berwick Zoning Ordinance on proposed Amendments to the Ordinances.
The Public Hearing will be held on the following Proposed Amendments to Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances:
Proposed Amendments to include;
Proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendment to amend section 3.1 Definitions - Designated Growth Area and section 6.3.9.c.c. Subdivisions in Designated Growth Areas to redefined the Designated Growth Area as areas within the Village A, Village B, Village Center, Commercial, Commercial II zoning districts that are serviced by Public Water and Public Sewer.
Proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendment to amend section 3.1 Definitions – Bed and Breakfast to allow Bed and Breakfast uses the ability to serve alcoholic beverages to their registered patrons.
Proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendment to add section 5.2.25 - Special Events Center/Facility and amend the Land Use Table for this use. The proposed Zoning Change defines Special Events Center or Facility and establishes performance standards for the review and approval of this land use. The Land Use Table allows this use in the Village A, Village B, Residential 1, Residential 2 and Farm and Forest Zones as a Conditional Use.
