North Codorus Township Accepting Road Material Bids Material Bids The North Codorus Township Board of Supervisors is accepting sealed bids for Furnishing and Placement of Bituminous Fiber Reinforced Seal Coat in accordance with PUB 447 MS-03500018 and within 2 to 3 days placement of Fog Seal in accordance with PA PUB 408 Section 472. The bids will be received until 11:00 am on Monday, April 6, 2026 after which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:01 am at the North Codorus Township Building, 1986 Stoverstown Rd., Spring Grove, PA 17362. All bids shall be submitted in an opaque envelope and must be plainly marked "Material Bids." North Codorus Township assumes no responsibility for bids mailed but not received. No bids shall be received by fax or e-mail. Bidding documents may be secured at the North Codorus Township Office, 1986 Stoverstown Road, Spring Grove, PA 17362 Monday thru Thursday between the hours of 6 am until 12 noon and 12:30 pm until 3 pm and Friday 6 am until 10 am. Telephone inquiries regarding the availability of such documents for bidding should be directed to the Township Manager or the Roadmaster at (717) 225-4812. All bids must be accompanied by cash, certified check, money order, or bid bond with corporate surety made payable to North Codorus Township in the minimum amount of 10% of the bid price. Upon acceptance by the Supervisors of the bid a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) must be provided to the Township. All bids shall remain irrevocable for sixty days after the actual date of the opening thereof or such longer period of time pursuant to Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1979. It is the intent of the North Codorus Township to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder at a regularly scheduled meeting held within sixty (60) days after the actual date of bid opening. Then Township reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities, the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the right to award a base bid, an alternate bid of any combination thereof in accordance with the bidding instructions, which, in its sole discretion, is in the best interest of the Township.
