Notice-PROPOSED BUDGET FY 2026-2027 PUBLIC HEARING SET DATE: Notice is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of NCGS 159-12, the proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, regarding the City of High Shoals has been filed with the City Clerk, submitted to the Mayor and Council, and is available for public inspection between the hours of 8 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, at City Hall, located at 101 Thompkins St. High Shoals, NC 28077. The proposed budget is available for viewing on the city's website at www.CityofHighShoals.com (under News & Notices). Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held in City Hall, Council Meeting Room, 101 Thompkins Street, High Shoals, NC 28077 on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, beginning at 6:30 pm, for the purpose of receiving input from citizens wishing to comment on the proposed budget for FY 2026-2027.
