PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Industrial Container Services, LLC ("Applicant") has applied to the City of Camden Zoning Board of Adjustment for a zoning interpretation of the zoning ordinance pursuant to Section 870-297.E(1)(b) of the City of Camden Zoning Code and, alternatively, for the granting of a Certificate of Non-Conforming Use pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-68, for the property located at 1900 South 3rd Street (aka 301 Winslow Street) in the City and County of Camden, New Jersey, which is designated as Block 483, Lot 34 on the City of Camden Tax Maps (the "Property").
The request for a zoning interpretation of the zoning ordinance is to confirm that the use of the property for storage and warehousing of new and reconditioned industrial containers and components is permitted under a zoning permit previously issued by the City of Camden in 2018 ("2018 Permit"). Alternatively, if the ZBA's interpretation is that the existing use is not covered by the 2018 Permit, then the Applicant will request that the ZBA grant a Certificate of Non-Conforming Use ("Certificate") acknowledging the history and continued industrial use of the Property. Additionally, the Certificate will permit for the existing and continued use of storage and warehousing of new and reconditioned industrial containers and components. No change is proposed to the uses currently existing on the Property.
Further, the undersigned seeks any and all variances and/or waivers as may be required with the approval of the application.
A public hearing has been set for May 4, 2026, at 5:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, Sixth and Market Streets, Camden, New Jersey.
When the case is called, you may appear either in person, or by agent or attorney, and present any objections to the granting of the application and any relief being sought.
Copies of the application and all documents, maps or other papers filed in connection with the application are on file in the office of the Zoning Board of Adjustment, Room 224, City Hall, Sixth and Market Streets, Camden, New Jersey, 08101, and are available for inspection during normal business hours.
