Notice of Acceptance of Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement (DGEIS) and Extension of written comment period _________________ Broome County - The Broome County Industrial Development Agency (the "Agency"), as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement (DGEIS) on the proposed Broome County Technology Park. A public hearing on the DGEIS was held on April 23, 2026, at 6:00 pm pursuant to notice published on April 8, 2026. Public Comment Period has been extended. The comment period was previously scheduled to close on May 8, 2026. Written comments on the DGEIS will now be accepted until May 18, 2026. Written comments may be delivered by regular mail to the Agency at Five South College Drive, Suite 201, Binghamton, New York 13905 (attn: DGEIS Comment); and/or sent by email to techpark@theagency-ny.com until the written comment period closes on May 18, 2026.
