Notice of Action for Exoneration From, or Limitation of, Liability United States District Court Middle District of Florida Jacksonville Division Case No. 3:25- CV-1123-MMH-PDB IN THE MATTER OF FRITZ DEPENTHAL & KRISTA DEPENTHAL, AS OWNERS OF PILGRIM, A 1988 68' MARINE METALS WITH PERKINS 85HP DIESEL ENGINE, BEARING HULL IDENTIFICATION No.: MZMM01W6588, ITS ENGINES, TACKLE, APPURTENANCES, EQUIPMENT, ETC., IN A CAUSE FOR EXONERATION FROM OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY ______________________________/ Vessel: 1988 68' Marine Metals with Perkins 85hp Diesel Engine, Hull Identification No. MZMM0 1 W6588 , its Engines, Tackle, Appurtenances, Equipment, etc. All potential claimants: Fritz and Krista Depenthal, as the asserted owners of the vessel, have filed an action in federal court for exoneration from, or limitation of, liability for any claims arising out of a May 20, 2024, event on the Intracoastal Waterway northwest of the Bridge of Lions on the Matanzas River near St. Augustine, Florida. By January 15, 2026, all potential claimants must file and serve any claim with the Clerk of the Court, 300 N. Hogan St., Ste. 9-150, Jacksonville, FL 32202, as required by Rule F(5), Supplemental Rules for Admiralty or Maritime Claims and Asset Forfeiture Actions. Each claimant must a lso serve a copy of the written claim on the plaintiffs' lead counsel, Richard McAlpin, McAlpin Florez Marcotte, P.A., 80 SW 8th St., Ste. 2805, Miami, FL 33130. Any claim not filed and served by January 15, 2026, will be defaulted.
