Notice of Application for Injection Well Permit Hilcorp Energy Company, 1111 Travis Street Houston, TX 77002 is applying to the Railroad Commission of Texas for a permit to inject fluids by well injection into a porous formation of oil or gas. The applicant proposes to inject saltwater, freshwater, CO2 (containing H2S), and natural gas into the Grayburg/San Andres formation, Adair San Andres Unit Lease, Well Number 2313R. The proposed injection well is located 10.2 miles northwest of Welch, TX in the Adair Field, in Gaines County. Fluid will be injected into strata in the subsurface depth interval from 4,700 to 5,100 feet. LEGAL AUTHORITY: Chapter 27 of the Texas Water Code, as amended, Title 3 of the Texas Natural Resources Code, as amended, and the Statewide Rules of the Oil and Gas Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas.
