NOTICE OF BOARD VACANCY COLLEGE OF THE SEQUOIAS Notice is hereby given that a vacancy will exist on the Board of Trustees of the College of the Sequoias due to a deferred resignation by Trustee Greg Sherman (Ward 1 – Visalia) to become effective on March 9, 2026. Pursuant to Education Code 5091, the Board intends to fill this vacancy via provisional appointment. The person appointed will hold office until the next regularly scheduled election cycle for this seat on November 3, 2026. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be registered voters, reside in Ward 1 of the College of the Sequoias area, and not be disqualified by law from holding civil office.
