Notice of Complaint and Petition for Exoneration From or Limitation of Liability
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Alliance Offshore, LLC ("Petitioner"), as owner pro hac vice of the vessel M/V Mr. Mason, its engines, gear, tackle, etc., has filed a Complaint and Petition pursuant to Title 46 of the Revised Statutes of 2023, United States, 46 U.S.C. §§ 30501-30512, claiming the right to exoneration from or limitation of liability for all claims arising from the occurrences during the voyage of the M/V Mr. Mason, etc., beginning on or about October 13, 2024 through December 12, 2024.
All persons having such claims must file them under oath, as provided in the Supplemental Rules for Certain Admiralty and Maritime Claims, Rule F(4) and (5), with the Clerk of this Honorable Court, at the United States Courthouse at 800 Lafayette St., #2100, Lafayette, LA 70501, and serve on the attorney for the Petitioner, Thomas Kent Morrison of Phelps Dunbar LLP at 365 Canal Street, Suite 2000 New Orleans, Louisiana 70130 on or before 5:00 p.m. on December 3, 2025, or be forever defaulted. Personal attendance is not required.
Any claimant desiring to contest the claims of the Petitioner must file an Answer to the said Complaint and Petition, as required by the Supplemental Rules for Certain Admiralty and Maritime Claims, Rule F(5), and serve on or mail a copy to Petitioner's attorney.
