Notice of Election NOTICE OF QUESTION SUBMITTED ELECTION CITY OF HUTCHINSON, KANSAS Notice is hereby given to the qualified electors of the City of Hutchinson, Kansas (the "City") that a special election has been called and will be held on March 3, 2026, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of the City the following proposition: Shall the following be adopted? Shall the Hutchinson City Council be authorized to levy an additional three-fourths percent (.75%) general retailer's sales tax, for the needs of the City including storm water modifications mandated by federal regulation, park maintenance and repairs, street maintenance and repairs, capital improvement plan projects and other operations of the City of Hutchinson, in addition to the existing City retailer's sales taxes, to be effective October 1, 2026 and expiring on September 30, 2036 and by allowing City usage of said tax for all needs of the municipality? IT IS IMPORTANT FOR EACH QUALIFIED VOTER TO NOTE THAT YOUR BALLOT CANNOT BE COUNTED UNLESS YOU TAKE THE APPROPRIATE STEPS: To vote in favor of any question submitted on this ballot, darken the oval to the left of the word "Yes."
