Notice of Forfeiture of Oil and Gas Lease
Pursuant to Ohio – Revised Code Section 5301.332
STATE OF OHIO COUNTY OF TUSCARAWAS
Lukas J. Langdon and Allison J. Langdon, husband and wife, being the owners of the oil, gas and minerals underlying 1.999 acres, more or less, located in Section 23, Township 13, Range 7 of Mill Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, further described as Surface Tax Parcel Number 39-01053-000, hereby gives notice of their intention to declare the following oil and gas lease forfeited pursuant to Ohio Re-vised Code Section 5301.332 for the following reasons: (1) the original lessee and their successors or assigns have failed and/or neglected to (i) comply with specifically described covenants provided for the lease, and/or (ii) timely and properly extend the lease pursuant to the terms and provision of such lease; and/or (2) the terms of the lease have expired and there are no producing or drilling oil and/or gas well on the leased premises.
Oil and Gas Lease, from Elmer L. Maple and Bernice L. Maple, his wife, to The East Ohio Gas Company, dated April 13, 1971, and recorded on May 4, 1971, in Volume 80, Page 415 of the Lease Records of Tuscarawas County, Ohio, with a primary term often (5) years from July 17, 1971, and covering 15.00 acres, more or less, out of Section 23, Township 13, Range 7 of Mill Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio Based on the Public Records of Tuscarawas County, Ohio, said Oil and Gas Lease is now owned by OWS Acquisition Co, LLC, Burj Energy, LLC, CGAS Appalachia, LLC and EAP Ohio, LLC.
It is the intention of Lukas J. Langdon and Allison J. Langdon, husband and wife to file for the record an Affidavit of Forfeiture with the Tuscarawas County Recorder if the lessee does not file a release of record of the lease within thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of this notice.
