NOTICE OF HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
In compliance with the pertinent provisions of the Washington Township Zoning and Land Development Ordinance, and the Washington Square Redevelopment Plan and the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Act, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq., notice is hereby given that a written application has been filed by the undersigned with the Washington Township Planning Board for preliminary and final major site plan approval, along with variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c) for maximum number of onsite directional signage and to permit a deviation from the Washington Square Redevelopment Plan that fifty-five (55%) of Lot 9.01 be devoted to inclusionary residential development, and any and all variances or waivers the Board may reasonably require in the exercise of its discretion, and without further public notice, in order to allow the undersigned applicant to establish and maintain an approximately 4,730 square foot CarMax vehicular auction facility within the existing building onsite, along with related site improvements, including the installation of 138 surface parking spaces, site lighting, landscaping, internal circulation enhancements, and stormwater management infrastructure.
The proposed plan of development described above concerns property shown as Lots 9.01, 16 and 16.01, in Block 115.02 on the Washington Township Tax Map, which property is located at 4121 Black Horse Pike, and is located within the Washington Square Redevelopment Area.
Public hearing on the above-mentioned application has been scheduled for November 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the Washington Township Municipal Building, Main Council Room A, 523 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, New Jersey, 08080, at which time and place any interested party (as defined in N.J.S.A. 40:55D-4) will have an opportunity to be heard. Please take further notice that the Board may, at its discretion, adjourn, postpone, or continue said hearing from time to time and you are hereby notified that you should make diligent inquiry of the Planning and Zoning Office concerning such adjournments, postponements, or continuations.
In accordance with the requirements of the Township of Washington Code and Section 40:55D-12 of the revised statutes of the State of New Jersey, all documents relating to this application are available for examination in the Planning and Zoning Office, Washington Township Municipal Building, 523 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, New Jersey, 08080, during regular business hours.
