Notice of Hearing before the Planning Board Borough of Lake Como
Please be advised that I represent James Tonelli who is the owner of 1808 Fernwood Road in the Borough of Lake Como. My client is making an application to the Planning Board of the Borough of Lake Como for variance relief. I am forwarding this notice to you at the request of the Planning Board. Please take notice that my client, James Tonelli, has made application to the Planning Board of the Borough of Lake Como seeking variance relief from the Zoning Ordinances of the Borough of Lake Como pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c), to partially demolish the existing principal structure and construct a new second floor addition and front porch. The project proposes one parking spot to be located in the front yard on a driveway with access to Fernwood Road. The property in question has an address of 1808 Fernwood Road, Lake Como, New Jersey and is described and identified on the Tax Map of the Borough of Lake Como as Block 14, Lot 40. The property is located in the R-40 Zone. My client is seeking variance relief for a parking deficiency where two spots are required and one is proposed. My client reserves the right to request approval for any and all other variances or design waivers which are necessary or may become necessary as a result of the Board's review of the matter and the public hearing process.
This appeal is scheduled for a public hearing on October 6, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lake Como Municipal Building, 1740 Main Street, Lake Como, New Jersey, 07719. All persons are advised that they may appear at the above public hearing, either in person, or by an attorney, and present any objection or otherwise be heard in reference to this application.
