Notice of Hearing on Application for Variance
Borough of Far Hills Planning Board
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned Applicant, Fairmount Capital Partners, LLC, Michael and Patricia Hart, Managing Members has filed an application with the Borough of Far Hills Planning Board of Adjustment for a "c" (bulk) variance regarding the property located at 62 Spring Hollow Road, Far Hills NJ 07931 designated on the Tax Map as Block 6, Lot 31 in the R10 Zone.
The applicant seeks approval to install a permanent automatic standby generator in the side/rear yard of the residential property. The proposed generator placement requires a variance from the strict application of the Far Hills Land Management Ordinance because the generator is proposed to be placed 143.1 feet from the property line, whereas the ordinance requires a minimum setback of 200 feet, or such other relief as is deemed necessary by the Board.
A public hearing has been scheduled on May 4, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., at the Borough Hall, 6 Prospect Street, Far Hills, NJ, at which time you may appear, either in person or by attorney, and present any objections or support you may have to the granting of this petition.
The application and supporting plans are available for public inspection at the office of the Planning Board Secretary at Borough Hall, 6 Prospect Street, Far Hills, NJ, during regular business hours 9:30a.m to 2:30p.m. Monday through Friday at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing date.
