Notice of Intent (NOI) to Enter into a guaranteed Maximum Price Contract: CITY OF ADEL - NEW PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY The City of Adel Intends to enter Into a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract for the potential construction of a new Public Safety facility. The City will publish a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Manager at-Risk (CMaR) services for the project on Thursday, July 2, 2026. The CMaR will be chosen using a two- step solicitation process and chosen on "best value." The CMaR Statement of Qualification (SOQ) submittals will be ranked based on the following criteria: • Firm Profile & Background • Applicable Project Experience, Qualifications, References • Project Team and Company Structure • Proposed Delivery Method & Management Processes • Safety Record & Internal Safety Program During the proposal stage, qualified respondents shall be asked to submit their proposed fees for the project. Additionally, qualified firms may be asked to interview. The City of Adel will select the respondent that offers the best value based on the published selection criteria and ranking evaluation.
