Notice of Intention to circulate Citizens' Initiative NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the persons whose names appear below intend to circulate a petition within the County of Ventura for the purpose of qualifying for the ballot the following proposed citizen's initiative pursuant to California election law. Sandro Wulff, 1979 Foster Ave, Ventura, CA 93001 David Armstrong, 1940 E. Linda Vista Ave, Ventura, CA 93001 For the sole purpose of supporting and expanding public school mental and behavioral health services, including wellness centers, school counselors, libraries and related student wellbeing supports, shall an annual parcel tax of $99 per parcel for five years be adopted within the boundaries of the Ventura Unified School District (VUSD) raising approximately $3.6 million annually, to be administered by the Ventura Unified School District Board of Trustees with an independent citizens' appropriation committee, comprised of three VUSD faculty members serving in mental health services, three VUSD high school students, and five community members living within the VUSD boundaries, all appointed by the Ventura Unified School District's Board of Trustees, with all funds spent on neighborhood public schools within the Ventura Unified School District, and no money used for administrative salaries or taken by the State?
