Public Hearing with
City Council and
Department of Commerce Regarding the City's Progress in Meeting the Housing Accountability Act

YOU ARE NOTIFIED that the Bainbridge Island City Council will conduct a joint public hearing with representatives from the Growth Management Services of the Department of Commerce on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, to receive public comment in person or in writing on the City's progress in meeting the Housing Accountability Act.
The public hearing will be held as part of the City Council meeting which begins at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, 280 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island and on the Zoom webinar platform. A link to the webinar and agenda will be provided to the public on July 24, 2026. Additional information about the City's selection under the Housing Accountability Act can be found on the City's website: https://www.bainbridgewa.gov/1698/Housing-Accountability-Act
If you are unable to participate in person or remotely, comments may be submitted to the City Council by first class mail at the address listed above or by email at council@bainbridgewa.gov. Written comments may be submitted until the closure of the public hearing on July 28, 2026, unless otherwise extended by the City Council.
