Notice of Permit Application Town: Thompson Notice is hereby given that Fort Hill AG Grid, LLC (the "applicant") has submitted to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection an application under section 22a-208a of the Connecticut General Statutes for a permit to conduct a regulated activity in the construction, alteration or operation of solid waste facilities. Specifically, the applicant proposes to continue operating an anaerobic digestor and biogas-to-energy system that includes an anaerobic digestion system, a 450 kilowatt biogas-fired combined heat and power engine/generator and a back-up flare. The activity will continue to take place at Fort Hill Farms, 157 O'Leary Road, Thompson, Connecticut. The activity will potentially affect a freshwater forested/shrub wetland, the Brandy Brook, and air and land resources.
