The Etna Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Etna Township Administration Building, 81 Liberty Street, Etna, Ohio.
The application submitted by Danny Waddle at the property located at 9458 Lynns Road SW, Etna, OH 43018 in the GB-1 General Business Zoning District is requesting a variance to construct a six-foot chain link fence in the front yard. Section 1005.G of the Etna Township Zoning Resolution prohibits accessory structures within the front yard, except decorative fences.
The proposed variance application will be available for examination for a period of at least ten (10) days prior to the public hearing at the following location: The Etna Township Administration Building, 81 Liberty Street, Etna, Ohio between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday and Friday by appointment. If a meeting needs to be cancelled it will be decided at least two hours prior to the meeting and notification being placed on the township website, and radio station T-woo (WCLT 100.3FM) will also be notified.
