Notice of Public Hearing CITY OF LAWRENCE COMMON COUNCIL LAWRENCE ~ MARION COUNTY, INDIANA November 3, 2025 Notice is hereby given that the City of Lawrence Common Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 3, 2025, beginning at 6:30pm in the Public Assembly Room, Lawrence Government Center, 9001 E. 59th St, Lawrence, IN 46216 on the following petitions: 25-ZON-03 ~ 8006 & 8016 Sweet Lane, Parcel 4033614, City of Lawrence: LCD#6; Zoned SU1. David & Joanna Sweet via Russell Brown is requesting Rezoning of +/- 2.049 acres from SU-1 (Religious Use) to D-2 to provide for a 4-lot major subdivision and construction of single family detached homes. The address of the proposal listed above is approximate and should be confirmed with the Department of Public Works. Copies of the proposal are available for examination prior to the hearing via request by email to smtush@cityoflawrence.org Written objections to a proposal may be filed with the Secretary of the Lawrence Board of Zoning Appeals, as appropriate, before the hearing at the above address, and such objections will be considered. At the hearing, all interested people will be given an opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters contained in said proposals.
