Notice is hereby given that the Village of Dundee Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 7:00pm at the Village Offices, located at 350 W Monroe Street Dundee, MI, 48131 to take comment on a variance request for the following property:
165 Van Nest Street, Dundee, MI 48131
(Including parcels 42 040 096 00, 42 040 152 00)
The property is zoned RA-2, One Family Residential. The applicant has requested a variance to install a metal roof as part of the renovations of the existing publicly owned building on the property. According to Section 17.04(B)(2) of the Village of Dundee Zoning Ordinance, standing seam metal roof systems shall be permitted only in the RO, B-2, B-4, M-1, and M-2 districts. If the variance is approved, a metal roof may be permitted on the property.
All interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing to ask questions or to make comments. The complete application can be reviewed at the Village Office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
