Notice of Public Hearing

Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held in accordance with Rockford Code of Ordinances, Chapter 113, Historic Preservation. The Rockford Historic Preservation Commission will conduct the hearing in City Council Chambers, Second floor of Rockford City Hall, 425 East State Street, Rockford, IL at 5:30 pm on Tuesday June 9, 2026. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on the following: To designate the Otis Eddy Homestead at 2520 North Main Street, a landmark as defined in Section 113-34 of the Rockford Code of Ordinances; and To designated the Briggs Mansion at 1244 East State Street, a landmark as defined in Section 113-34 of the Rockford Code of Ordinances.
