PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that an Application has been made to the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Waldwick for Variance relief from the provisions of Chapter 97, Section 97-123.3.G(2) of the Waldwick Zoning Ordinance and whatever other variance relief is deemed necessary, with respect to the premises known as 2 Smith Street, Waldwick, New Jersey, on the current tax map of the Borough of Waldwick, which premises are commonly known as 2 Smith Street, Waldwick, New Jersey.
Applicant proposes to: Install a 6-foot fence on a residential corner lot where a 4-foot maximum fence height is required under Section 97-123.3.G(2).
This proposal would be in violation of the provisions of said Section of the Waldwick Zoning Ordinance in the following respect:
Section 97-123.3.G(2) permits a maximum fence height of 4 feet for this corner-lot condition. Applicant proposes a 6-foot fence for privacy, safety, and screening in the functional side/rear yard along West Prospect Street.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Waldwick will hold a public hearing on said application on June 24, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., prevailing time, or soon thereafter as the matter may be reached at the Administration Building of the Borough of Waldwick, 63 Franklin Turnpike, Waldwick, NJ.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a copy of the Applicant's Application for variance relief is on file at the Administrative Offices of the Borough of Waldwick, 63 Franklin Turnpike, Waldwick, NJ, for public inspection during regular business hours.
