Notice of Public Hearing
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned applicant has applied to the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Elmwood Park, Bergen County, New Jersey, for variance relief with respect to the property located at 88 Glenwood Ave. Elmwood Park, New Jersey 07407, also known as Block 207, Lot 12 on the Borough of Elmwood Park Tax Map.
The applicant seeks approval to construct a rear addition to the existing single-family dwelling. In connection with the proposed addition, the applicant requests a rear yard setback variance. A minimum rear yard setback of 20.0 feet is required by the Borough's zoning ordinance, whereas a rear yard setback of 11.7 feet is proposed.
The application will be heard by the Zoning Board of Adjustment on July 22, 2026, at 7:30 pm, at the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building , Elmwood Park, New Jersey, or at such other time and place as the matter may be heard.
The application, plans, and supporting documents are on file and may be inspected by the public during normal business hours at the office of the Borough Clerk or other designated municipal office prior to the hearing.
Any interested party may appear at the hearing and be heard either in person or through an attorney.
