Notice of Registration For Annual School Election/Budget Vote NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 2606, Subdivision 5 of the Education Law of the State of New York, that the Board of Registration of the City School District of the City of Hornell, Steuben County, New York, will meet to prepare the School Election District registers at the District Offices, 120 Raider Road, Hornell, New York, on the 1st day of May, 2026 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. If a voter has heretofore registered pursuant to § 2606 of the Education Law and has voted at an annual or special district meeting within the last four (4) calendar years, he or she is eligible to vote at the Annual Vote and Election. Any person who did not register for the preceding general election (November 2025) but at the time of such registration resided in a school election district other than the one in which the person presently resides must, in order to be entitled to vote, present himself personally at the time and place set forth herein for registration. All other persons must present themselves to register.
