Notice of Special Election DEPTFORD FIRE DISTRICT NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND ELECTION Pursuant to N.J. Stat. Ann. § 10:4-8(d) , The Deptford Board of Fire Commissioners will hold a special meeting and election to obtain the vote of Township residents to ask the legal voters to take the amount of $1,186,420.00 (One Million, One Hundred and Eighty-Six Thousand, Four Hundred and Twenty Dollars and Zero Cents) from the Deptford Fire District's capital reserve account and allocate that amount as a capital line item on the Fire District's 2026 annual budget for the purchase of fire apparatus, specifically for the purchase of a Rear Mount Aerial Quint. The special meeting and election will take place only at the Fire Administration building located at 1370 Delsea Drive, Deptford, NJ, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on January 23, 2026.
