Notice of Vacancy and Provisional Appointment to the Millville Elementary School District Board
A letter of resignation was filed with the Shasta County Superintendent of Schools on September 16, 2025 to be effective September 16, 2025 creating a vacancy on the Millville Elementary School District Board. In accordance with Education Code Section 5091, the Millville Elementary School District Board on November 12, 2025 selected Sandra Harpe as the provisional appointee to fill the vacancy.
Registered voters of Millville Elementary School District may submit a petition calling for a special election to fill the vacancy. Such a petition must be filed with the Shasta County Superintendent of Schools within thirty days of the date of the appointment. If no petition is filed, this provisional appointment shall be an effective appointment.
This notice is published pursuant to Education Code Section 5092.
