PUBLIC HEARING
Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee
Notice is hereby given that the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee will hold a public hearing at or shortly after 1:30 P.M. on May 4, 2026 in its boardroom located at 809 N Broadway, Milwaukee WI 53202.
The purpose of the meeting will be to consider an eighth amendment to Tax Incremental Financing District No. 56 (Erie/Jefferson) for the purposes of making donations to the following Tax Increment Districts: $1,514,169 to TID No. 89, and $1,294,527 to TID No. 106, for a total allocation donation from TID 56 of $2,808,696.
At the public hearing, all interested parties will be afforded reasonable opportunity to express their views regarding the amendment to Tax Increment District No. 56. The hearing shall only be for the purpose of assisting the Authority in making its determination as to whether the Project Plan is consistent with the goals and objectives of the district, and in submitting its recommendation to the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee.
The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee meeting will be hybrid, with in-person and virtual options available. A copy of Amendment No. 8 to the Project Plan for the District will be provided upon request for examination at the Department of City Development, 809 North Broadway, Milwaukee, Wisconsin during its regular hours (8:00 A.M. – 4:45 P.M.), Monday through Friday, and will also be available at the hearing.
