Official Notice of Story County Civil Service Commission OFFICIAL NOTICE TO THOSE INTERESTED PERSONS: Pursuant to Chapter 341A, Code of Iowa, you are advised that the Story County Deputy Sheriff entrance level examination will be administered by the Story County Civil Service Commission as required by the law. The written examination component will be given and supervised by one or more members of the Story County Civil Service Commission on Saturday, June 13, 2026, beginning at 8:30 a.m., at the Story County Sheriff's Office, 1315 S B Ave., Nevada, Iowa. The physical fitness and agility test component will be given and supervised by the personnel of the Story County Sheriff's Office on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the Nevada High School track, 1001 15th Street, Nevada, Iowa following the written examination.
