Ordinance Amending Town of Waupun Driveway and Culvert Ordinance The Town Board of the Town of Waupun, with quorum present and voting and upon proper notice, hereby ordains the following amendment to the Town of Waupun Driveway and Culvert Ordinance. SECTION D IS CREATED TO READ: Enforcement and Penalties 1. Forfeiture. Any person, firm, or entity that violates any provision of this Ordinance shall be subject to a forfeiture of not less than $200 nor more than $500 for each day the violation exists or continues. Each day on which a violation exists or continues constitutes a separate and distinct offense. 2. Additional Remedies. In addition to forfeitures, the Town may seek in junctive or other equitable relief to abate or remedy any violation, and may abate the violation at the responsible party's expense, with the cost assessed as a special charge against the property if unpaid within 30 days of billing. 3. License and Permit Denial. The Town may refuse to issue any permit to any person who has an overdue, unpaid forfeiture resulting from a violation of this Ordinance or any other ordinance of the Town, except as otherwise prohibited by law. All other provisions of the Town of Waupun Driveway and Culvert Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
