Ordinance Amending the Code of the Township of Warminster, Ch 15, Part 9 - Automated Red Light Enforcement Systems
NOTICE
TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WARMINSTER:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, on March 5, 2026 beginning 7:00PM, the Warminster Township Board of Supervisors, during its regularly scheduled meeting, will conduct a public hearing to consider enactment of the following draft Ordinance:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WARMINSTER BY ADDING CHAPTER 15, PART 9 – "AUTOMATED RED LIGHT ENFORCEMENT SYSTEMS"
This Ordinance will set forth the rules and regulations governing the enforcement of traffic offenses using redlight cameras. The proposed intersections for the redlight cameras will be located at Street Road (S.R. 132)/ York Road (S.R. 263) and Street Road (S.R. 132)/ Jacksonville Road (S.R. 332).
The full text of this Ordinance may be examined, without charge, and copies may be obtained for a charge no greater than the cost thereof, at the the Warminster Township Building, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30AM until 4:30PM.
The public is invited to attend the meeting at the Warminster Township Building, located at 401 Gibson Avenue, Warminster, PA 18974, and will be given an opportunity to provide comments regarding this proposed ordinance. Persons with disabilities, wishing to attend the public meeting and requiring auxiliary aid, service or other accommodations to participate, should contact the Township ADA Coordinator at 215-443-5414.
At the conclusion of the hearings, the Board will consider enactment of the Ordinance, unless it deems additional time is required for consideration and discussion, in which case it will hold an additional public hearing/meeting at an announced date and time for that purpose.
