Outagamie County Health and Human Services, Notice of Public Hearing, 85.21 Specialized Transportation Assistance Grant Application for 2026
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Outagamie County 85.21 Specialized Transportation Assistance Grant Application for 2026 is scheduled for a Public Hearing on November 5, 2025, 2:30 P.M., at the meeting of the Outagamie County Specialized Transportation Planning and Policy Committee. The meeting will take place in the Aging and Long-Term Support Conference Room A, Outagamie County Government Center 1st Floor, located in the ADRC at 320 South Walnut Street, Appleton Wisconsin 54911.
The Public Hearing will be held to receive public comment on Outagamie County's proposed plan for spending $443,890 with a local match of $88,778 authorized under Section 85.21 of Wisconsin Statute to implement elderly and disabled transportation services in Outagamie County.
Proposed 2025 projects requesting 85.21 funds include: Valley Transit II, Elderly and Sunday Services in the urban area ($138,402); Valley Transit Rural Services ($126,924); Valley Transit Eagle Flats ($119,614); Lutheran Social Services Make the Ride Happen ($91,638); Non-Profit Affordable Housing-Based Rental Service – NAHBRS ($77,165); and Hortonville Helping Hands ($14,197).
