RFQ # 26-401R, Traffic Signal Design-Build Services
A new Pender County Health and Human Services Building (HSS) is being constructed on the east side of Progress Drive in Burgaw, NC. The development is anticipated to be completed in April of 2026. Access to the new site will be from two (2) new driveways along Progress Drive as well as connectivity to the existing Pender County Government Office campus on South Walker Street. Permitting processes for the new HHS Building project have identified the necessity to provide for a new traffic control signal at the intersection of South Walker Street and US-117 South. Pender County is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Firms to provide traffic control signal Design-Build services. All designs and services must meet and/or exceed North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) specifications and all other applicable standards. Any question on the is project must be submitted via email to purchasing@pendercountync.gov. Answers will posted on the County website on an ongoing basis. RFQ 26-408, Materials Testing Services
Pender County is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms to provide Material testing on a new public library, consisting of approximately 20,000 square feet located at 15060 Hwy. 17, Hampstead NC 28443 on the site adjacent to the Pender County Government Annex. All services must follow Chapter 17 of the North Carolina State Building Code and all other related applicable standards.
