Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Plan Commission in the City of Monmouth, Illinois, on June 22nd, 2026, at 5:30 pm., in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 100 East Broadway at which time and place the Planning Commission will consider a request for:
2nd Request: To change the zoning district of 1100 South 11th Street from a R-2 Medium Density Residential District to a B-2 Service Commercial District at the request of the City Administrator to facilitate the sale of this city-owned property to a private individual for personal non-residential use.

Property owner Bill McBride has requested to change the zoning district of 931 South A. Street from a R-2 Medium Density Residential District to a B-2 Service Commercial District.
This will allow Complete Auto and Parts (also owned by Bill McBride) additional space for employee parking and staging for vehicle drop-off for repair. This request is supported by the City Administrator.
