PZ-000397-2025 Notice is hereby given that the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Peoria will hold a public hearing in City Hall, Room 400, 419 Fulton St, Peoria, IL at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 2, 2025, for the following request: Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of Steve Kerr of Mohr & Kerr Engineering, on behalf of the Peoria Friendship House, to amend an existing Special Use Ordinance No. 17,993 with waivers for a Neighborhood Center in a Class R6 (Multi-Family Residential) District and a Class R8 (Multi-Family Residential) District to add property to the boundary of the special use (404 Wayne St and 817 NE Jefferson Ave) and to amend the site plan to add an 8 foot tall fence and to add a pavilion for the property located at 800, 814 and 816 NE Madison Ave, 801, 803, 809, 815, 817 NE Jefferson Ave, 404 and 406 Wayne St, and 724 NE Madison Ave (Parcel Identification Nos. 18-03-354-001, 18-03-354-002, 18-03-354-003, 18-03-354-009, 18-03-354-010, 18-03-354-011, 18-03-354-012, 18-03-354-013, 18-03-354-014, 18-03-354-015 & 18-03-353-006 & 18-03-353-007), Peoria, IL (Council District 3).
