POLK COUNTY PROCUREMENT AND PURCHASING DIVISION Bid No. 101 - 2627 Project No. 2026.02 2025-2026 Local Pavement Marking Program OFFICIAL PUBLICATION On behalf of the Polk County Board of Supervisors and Public Works, the Procurement and Purchasing Division will receive bids for the 2026-27 Local Pavement Marking Program. The project includes a to be determined amount of factored stations of painted pavement markings and a to be determined amount of painted symbols to be placed throughout Polk County. This work will use standard waterborne or solvent-based and durable pavement marking paint and will include some grooving. Interested firms/individuals may obtain information and submit bids via BidNet Direct until bid submission deadline/closing date and time of March 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST at: https://www.bidnetdirect.com/iowa/polkcounty. By virtue of statutory authority, a preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa and to Iowa domestic labor. It is the purchasing policy of Polk County to allow the Polk County Board of Supervisors the discretion of showing preference in purchasing materials, products, supplies, provisions, goods and services from Iowa-based companies and or bidders who produce goods or maintain an office in Iowa. Preference may also be given to materials, products, supplies, provisions, goods and services from Polk County-based companies and or bidders who produce goods or maintain an office in Polk County.
