PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE OF INTENTION TO FILE PETITION TO PERMANENTLY CLOSE ROAD Pursuant to Section 57-9-10 of the SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS, 1976, as amended, Petition to Abandon or Close Street, Road or Highway, Notice is hereby given that Petitioners will file a petition with the Court of Common Pleas for Anderson County seeking to permanently close a portion of Stone Drive/Anderson County Road C-1-177, in the County of Anderson, South Carolina, the proposed portion to be closed being more particularly described as follows: A section of roadway within the boundaries of TMS #2430003044 which measures 577 feet from the beginning of the right side of the loop and continuing counterclockwise until a power pole. This is the same section of road that was the subject of Anderson County Council Resolution R2024-052 consenting to closure of the described portion of the road. Interested persons are hereby notified to contact the undersigned attorney for Petitioners Thomas Pruitt and Robin Pruitt for further information within 30 days from the date of the last publication of this Notice or thereafter be barred from asserting any objection to the closing of this road.
