PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Hopewell City Council will conduct public hearings at a meeting on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in the Municipal Building, 300 North Main Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860, for the purpose of receiving comments regarding the following requests in accordance with Article XXI Amendments, of the Hopewell Zoning Ordinance and the Code of Virginia 15.2-2285.
A Conditional Use Permit request submitted by Trek Properties LLC to construct a single-family dwelling on a non-conforming lot, Parcel #011-1165, also identified as 501 N. 4th Ave., located in the RO-4 Residential High Density-Office District.
A Conditional Use Permit request submitted Phillip Hughes of Broadway Building LLC to have two apartments on the second floor of 238 E. Broadway (Parcel #080-0485) less than seven hundred gross square feet in the B-1 Downtown Central Business District.
A Conditional Use Permit request submitted by Osmin Lopez to construct a duplex on Parcel #032-0100, also identified as 1104 Kruper Street and zoned R-2 Residential Medium Density.
