PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Hopewell Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in the Municipal Building, 300 North Main Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860, for the purpose of receiving comments regarding the following requests:
2026-0062: A conditional use permit request submitted by Joy Fellowship to install a 6-foot-tall fence in front of the church athletic fields, entrance, and parking on Parcel #254-0010, also identified as 1001 Perrymont Rd., and zoned R-2 Residential, Medium Density District.
2026-0088: A conditional use permit request submitted by A-Team Automotive Repair to operate an auto repair business on Parcel #024-1000, also identified as 225 S. 15th Ave., and zoned B-2 Limited Commercial District.
2026-0048: A modification of development standards request submitted by Virginia American Water to allow barbed wire fencing around the property on Parcel #066-0888, also identified as 915 Riverside Ave., and zoned B-3 Highway Commercial District.
