PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Saint Francis Community Services in Texas, Inc. will conduct a public hearing to provide information and receive public comments regarding the proposed opening of a short-term emergency shelter for children in foster care. DATE: Tuesday, April 7, 2026 TIME: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. LOCATION: 125 Chicago Avenue, Lubbock, TX 79416 The purpose of this hearing is to present an overview of the shelter's intended services, describe anticipated community impact, and allow for public questions and formal comment. A person may submit written comments or written information to Licensing concerning the application or the request to amend the permit instead of or in addition to appearing at the public hearing. Written submissions will be accepted and considered as part of the official record.
