PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging, Inc. will conduct a public hearing at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026, at its office located at 2910 SW Topeka Boulevard, Topeka, Kansas. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on the proposed Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2027 Area Plan Update and proposed services to be funded under the Older Americans Act. Services proposed for funding include congregate meals, home-delivered meals, legal services, transportation, in-home services, and caregiver services. A 30-day public comment period will begin June 8, 2026, and end July 8, 2026. The proposed FFY 2027 Area Plan Update and related documents will be available for public review beginning June 8, 2026, at the Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging office and at www.jhawkaaa.org/public-comment The public is invited to attend the hearing and provide comments.
