PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES CITY OF GENESEO ZONING VARIANCE REQUEST The City of Geneseo Plan/Zone Board has received an application from Brandon Schnowske for a Variance Request to split the parcel located at 302 East Chestnut Street. This variance, if granted, would allow the parcel to be split taking 65 feet from the east property line the full length of the property to create a new parcel. This would be a variance from the ordinance that requires a parcel lot width to be a minimum of 75 feet wide. Prior to making a decision and in accordance with the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1206, as amended, and the State statutes, it is hereby announced that a public hearing will be held to consider this request beginning at 6:00 PM on Monday, September 22, 2025 at the City Council Chambers, 115 S. Oakwood Ave., Geneseo IL. All interested persons are invited to attend. Written comments will be accepted until 4:00 PM Monday, September 22, 2025 and should be addressed to City of Geneseo City Clerk, City Hall, 115 S. Oakwood Avenue, Geneseo IL 61254.
