PUBLIC HEARING (S) ON
PROPOSED ENACTMENT ORDINANCE(S)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 03-226 (AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 10-51, ORDINANCE NO. 16-73, ORDINANCE 19-317, AND ORDINANCE 22-259) TO ESTABLISH INCREASED HOURLY RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR OUTSIDE DETAILS OF POLICE OFFICERS, FIREFIGHTERS, AND TRAFFIC ENGINEERING EMPLOYEES WHO PROVIDE SERVICE TO OUTSIDE PERSONS/VENDORS, WITH THE INCREASED RATES BEING BASED ON THE TYPES OF SERVICE AND DATES OF SERVICE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH AMENDING THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH POLICE OFFICERS' AND FIREFIGHTERS' RETIREMENT SYSTEM, SUBPART D OF THE CITY CHARTER; AMENDING SECTION 5, CONTRIBUTIONS, BY ELIMINATING THE REDUCTION TO THE MEMBER CONTRIBUTION ONCE THE MEMBER HAS ACCRUED THE MAXIMUM MONTHLY PENSION BENEFIT CAP OF $5,500 AND ALLOWING MEMBERS AT THE CAP A ONE-TIME ELECTION TO REMAIN AT THE REDUCED RATE OF .50% AND FORGO A FUTURE RECALCULATION OF BENEFITS; OR, IF AT THE CAP AND IN DROP, A ONE-TIME ELECTION TO REMAIN IN THE CITY'S 401(A) PLAN FOR CAPPED EMPLOYEES AND FORGO A FUTURE RECALCULATION OF BENEFITS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A LARGE-SCALE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH CH. 163, PART II, FLORIDA STATUTES, WITH REGARD TO 276.75+ ACRES OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH OF BEVILLE ROAD, BETWEEN INTERSTATE-95 AND WILLIAMSON BOULEVARD; AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP DESIGNATION FOR THIS PROPERTY FROM EXISTING POTENTIAL PARKS (EX-PP), GENERAL INDUSTRIAL (GI), INTERCHANGE COMMERCIAL (IC), LEVEL 1 RESIDENTIAL (L1-R), MIXED USE (MU), AND OFFICE TRANSITION (OT) TO MIXED USE (MU); AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT, NEIGHBORHOOD R DEVELOPMENT POLICY TO IMPOSE LIMITATIONS ON DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROPERTY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE TO REZONE 276.75+/- ACRES OF PROPERTY, GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH OF BEVILLE ROAD, BETWEEN INTERSTATE-95 AND WILLIAMSON BOULEVARD, FROM AG (AGRICULTURAL) TO PD-G (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT-GENERAL); APPROVING THE FLORIDA LOGISTICS CENTER PLANNED DISTRICT AGREEMENT TO ALLOW FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A REGIONAL INDUSTRIAL PARK WITH SUPPORTING COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL USES; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE (LDC) RELATING TO "AUDITORIUM OR THEATER" USES; AMENDING ARTICLE 5, TABLE 5.2.A.3 TO ADD THE AUDITORIUM OR THEATER USE TO THE RDD-1 (REDEVELOPMENT DOWNTOWN-BEACH STREET RETAIL) AND RDD-2 (REDEVELOPMENT DOWNTOWN-CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT) ZONING DISTRICTS; ADDING SECTION 5.2.B.21.k TO ESTABLISH GENERAL STANDARDS FOR THE AUDITORIUM OR THEATER USE; AMENDING SECTION 11.5 TO MODIFY EXISTING DEFINITIONS FOR THE TERMS "AUDITORIUM OR THEATER" AND "NIGHTCLUB" AND TO CREATE A NEW DEFINITION FOR THE TERM "LIVE ENTERTAINMENT"; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
