PUBLIC HEARING (S) ON
PROPOSED ENACTMENT ORDINANCE(S)
The City Commission of the City of Daytona Beach will meet and hold public hearings on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in the Commission Chambers, Room 290, City Hall, 301 South Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida. The proposed Ordinance(s) listed by title below will be considered for final adoption. The public may inspect the proposed Ordinance(s) at the City Clerk's Office, Room 210, City Hall, 301 South Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance(s). Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, he/she may need to ensure, at his/her own expense, the taking and preparation of a verbatim record of all testimony and evidence of the proceeding upon which the appeal is to be based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), persons needing a special accommodation to participate in the Commission proceedings should contact the City Clerk's Office not later than three (3) days prior to the proceedings at 386-671-8023.
The title(s) of the proposed Ordinance(s) are as follows:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE (LDC) RELATING TO PLAT PROCESSES; AMENDING ARTICLES 2, 3, 7, 11 AND APPENDIX A TO IMPLEMENT SB 784 AND COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA STATUTES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE BORROWING OF MONEY AND THE ISSUANCE OF DEBT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $35,500,000 FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FINANCING FOR CERTAIN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO THE SECOND PHASE OF CONSTRUCTION AT THE JACKIE ROBINSON BALLPARK STADIUM; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
