PUBLIC MEETING: LA 648 & ACADIA ROAD INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS (H.013940) OPEN HOUSE PUBLIC MEETING LA 648 & ACADIA ROAD INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS State H.013940 LAFOURCHE PARISH LADOTD in conjunction with the City of Thibodaux, the Houma Thibodaux Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the Louisiana Office of Facility Planning and Control propose to construct a two-lane roundabout at the intersection of LA 648 & Acadia Road intersection located in Thibodaux, LA in Lafourche Parish. The purpose and need of the project is to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance safety on LA 648 (Percy Brown Rd) and Acadia Rd/ Acadia Woods Dr. The purpose of this meeting is to give information and obtain input from interested parties. Representatives from The City of Thibodaux, DDG, and LADOTD will be available to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project. The public meeting will be held on Wednesday June 3rd, 2026, from 6:15-8:00 PM at the following location: Bayou Country Children's Museum 211 Rue Betancourt Thibodaux, LA 70301 Attendees may submit written comments at the meeting. Comments may also be mailed to the City of Thibodaux at the address provided. Comments must be post marked by June 13th, 2026, to be included in the transcript of this meeting.
