PUBLIC NOTICE AND REQUEST FOR COMMENTS PERTAINING TO A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE 208 PLAN TO MODIFY THE SPRINGFIELD NO. 91 FACILITIES PLANNING AREA (FPA) BOUNDARY AND ADD A WRITTEN WASTEWATER PRESCRIPTION FOR "AREAS EXPECTED TO BE SERVED WITH SANITARY SEWERS WITHIN THE NEXT 20 YEARS" IN THE VILLAGE OF LAKEMORE (PART) IN THE AKRON FPA The City of Akron, on behalf of Summit County Department of Sanitary Sewer Services (DSSS), is proposing an amendment to the 208 Plan to modify the boundary of the Springfield No. 91 facilities planning area (FPA). This amendment is necessary in order to allow Parcel No. 5400851 (2419 Krumroy Road) in the Village of Lakemore to be served by the Akron Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) to support a proposed residential development. The parcel is currently located within the 208 Plan's Springfield No. 91 FPA. Under the proposed FPA amendment, the parcel will be transferred to the Akron FPA, and the newly written wastewater prescription will require the proposed residential development to connect to sanitary sewer tributary to the Akron WRF.
