PUBLIC NOTICE: BERKELEY TOWNSHIP ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on March 11, 2026, in the Town Hall Meeting Room at 627 Pinewald-Keswick Rd., Bayville, New Jersey, Township of Berkeley Zoning Board will hold a hearing on the application of Jason Wier (the Applicant) at which time and place all interested partied will be given an opportunity to be heard. Said meeting will take place at 6:30p.m.
The premises in question is located in the CR Zone, at Block 609, Lot 7 on the Berkeley Township Tax Map and are more commonly known as 523 Southern Blvd, in the Township of Berkeley, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey.
The Applicant is seeking variances necessary to construct a 2nd Floor & Garage addition with "c" Variance Relief. The proposal requires variances for:
A lot area of 130,680 SF is required, whereas 15.000 SF is existing and proposed.A lot frontage of 200 ft. is required, whereas 100 ft. is existing and proposed along Western Boulevard and 150 ft. is existing and proposed along Southern Boulevard.A rear yard setback of 50 ft. is required, whereas 35.9 ft. is proposed to the garage addition.Lot coverage is limited to 10%, whereas 13.6% is proposed.A minimum accessory structure setback of 3ft is required, whereas 2.5 feet exists and is proposed to the shed.A side yard of 25 ft. is required, whereas 14.3 ft. is proposed to the deck.
The Applicant will also seek such other variances, exceptions and/or design waivers a maybe required upon an analysis of the plans and the testimony at the public hearing. A copy of said application and supporting documents are on file with the Secretary of the Berkeley Township Zoning Board at 627 Pinewald-Keswick Rd., Bayville, New Jersey, and may be inspected during normal business hours in the Adjustment Office of the Zoning Board by all interested parties prior to said meeting
