PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:
That Darius Tenenis has applied to Howell Township Planning Board for minor subdivision and plot plan/variance approval to subdivide/realign the existing lot line between lots 18 & 19. The 1-story dwelling on Lot 19 is to be converted into a garage and a new attached 2-story dwelling with in-ground pool is proposed. This property is located in the ARE-2 Zone at 256 White Street, Howell Township, NJ 07731, Howell, New Jersey, also known as Block 130 Lot 18 &19 as shown on the official tax map of Howell Township.
The Applicant seeks the following variances and/or design waivers for relief from the following requirements:
Lot 18: lot area .869 acres existing/proposed, whereas 2 acres required; lot width 189.8' proposed, whereas 200' required; front yard setback 45.3' existing/proposed, whereas 50' required; lot coverage 20.41% proposed, whereas 15 % permitted;
Lot 19: .688 acres existing/proposed, whereas 2 acres required; lot width +/- 110' proposed, whereas 200' required; lot coverage 18.6% proposed, whereas 15% permitted;
Design waivers: no sidewalks along the street frontages are proposed;
The applicant may seek additional variances and/or waivers and exceptions or interpretations as required by law or Howell Township Planning Board including but not limited for re-approval and/or reaffirmation of any and all other relief that may have been granted in any prior applications.
This application will be heard by Howell Township Planning Board at a public meeting on April 16, 2026 in the Main Meeting Room of the Howell Township Municipal Building at 4567 Route 9 North, 2nd Floor, Howell, New Jersey 07731. The meeting will commence at 7:00 P.M. at which time you may appear either in person or by an attorney and present any objection or questions you may have to the granting of this application. The application and supporting documents of this application are on file with the Planning Board Secretary and may be inspected by you during regular business hours of the Township of Howell, Department of Community Development at 4567 Route 9 North, 2nd Floor, Howell, NJ.
